Refund Policy

Miskawaan Health Group

At Miskawaan Health Group (“MHG”, “the Clinic”), we are committed to safe, ethical and transparent care. This Refund Policy is published so that every client understands, before paying, how refunds and credits are handled at our clinics. It is written to be fair to clients, consistent with Thai law, and clear about what you are and are not entitled to.

Client Acknowledgement Before Payment

Every client consults a Miskawaan physician before making payment or beginning any treatment. In that consultation, the treatment is explained in full — what it is intended to achieve, the risks involved, and the results that can realistically be expected — so that your decision is a properly informed one.

We give clients complete and accurate information on treatments, products and prices before purchase, and every client has the opportunity to discuss suitability and likely outcomes directly with the attending physician.

MHG does not permit overclaiming, misrepresentation of outcomes, or sales pressure of any kind. No client will ever be pushed into a purchase they do not fully understand or want. All clinical recommendations are made in line with medical ethics and professional responsibility.

By proceeding to payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted this Refund Policy, that the treatment has been sufficiently explained to you, and that your decision is voluntary.

Clients are informed of our no-cash-refund policy before any payment is taken, and written acknowledgement is obtained before the transaction is completed.

1. General Policy

  • All sales are final.
  • MHG operates a strict no-cash-refund policy. Cash refunds are not issued under any circumstances.
  • Where a refund is granted, it is issued only as Miskawaan Care Credits, which may be applied against other treatments or products available at MHG, subject to the conditions in this policy.
  • Miskawaan Care Credits may only be considered where the client has not yet started or used any part of the purchased course or treatment. This includes cases where the medical team has not yet prepared, compounded or administered any medication, vitamin or medical formulation connected to that treatment.
  • Care Credits are considered only on the grounds set out in Clause 3, and must be reviewed and approved by an authorised representative of MHG before they are issued.

2. What Miskawaan Care Credits Are?

Miskawaan Care Credits are a remedy issued under this Refund Policy in the limited circumstances set out below. They are not a rewards scheme, membership benefit, loyalty programme or discount offer. They cannot be earned, accrued, purchased or collected through any activity, and they are not available to clients generally.

Care Credits are issued only:

  • at the discretion of MHG,
  • following review and approval by an authorised representative of MHG,
  • on the grounds set out in Clause 3, and
  • at the amount the client actually paid for the unused portion of the treatment or course.

Care Credits:

    • are not cash and carry no monetary value outside MHG;
    • cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or assigned;
    • are redeemable once only, in a single transaction, with no change or residual balance given on any unused amount;
    • expire 12 months from the date of issue, after which any remaining value lapses;
    • may be applied only against treatments or products available at MHG for which the client is clinically suitable, as determined by the attending physician;
    • do not reduce the published price of any treatment and confer no entitlement to any discount.

3. When Care Credits May Be Issued?

3.1 Medical grounds

Care Credits may be considered only where the attending physician responsible for your case confirms that you cannot continue with the purchased treatment or vitamin protocol because of:

  • an allergic reaction or adverse medical response to the product or treatment; or
  • an unavoidable medical condition that makes it unsafe to continue.

Where a client has already received treatment and subsequently experiences an allergic or adverse reaction, but did not disclose known allergies or relevant medical information to our medical team beforehand, MHG accepts no responsibility for that outcome and no refund or credit will be granted.
All requests are reviewed and approved by MHG’s medical team to ensure they meet our clinical and patient-safety standards. Once approved, the unused value of the treatment is converted into Care Credits at the amount actually paid.

3.2 Discretionary goodwill

Where a client has sessions or unused package value remaining and no longer wishes to continue, MHG may, at its sole discretion and purely as a gesture of goodwill, convert the remaining value into Care Credits. Such a conversion is not a refund, creates no precedent, and requires review and formal approval by an authorised representative of MHG.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

4.1 Pregnancy during a course of treatment

If you become pregnant during a course of treatment, please tell your doctor. Your sessions will be paused and the course extended until it is medically safe to resume, or you may transfer the remaining sessions to a family member or someone close to you. No refund or Care Credits will be issued in this situation.

4.2 Oral supplements

Oral supplement products purchased in clinic are non-refundable once they have left the premises.

4.3 Gift vouchers and coupons

All gift voucher and coupon purchases are final and non-refundable. They may be redeemed against any treatment at our clinics, but cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged, cannot be exchanged for cash, and no change is given on any unused balance.

4.4 Dissatisfaction after treatment has been received

Where a client has received a treatment or service, in whole or in part, and is dissatisfied for any reason not caused by clinic error, no refund or Care Credits will be issued. Treatment details, pricing, conditions and expected outcomes are provided both verbally and in writing before payment, and proceeding to payment confirms acceptance of that information.

Clause 3.2 above sets out the limited discretionary exception where unused value remains.

5. Course Usage and Expiry

Treatment courses must be used within their validity period, or within the period agreed at the time of purchase. Course terms and expiry dates are communicated clearly, both verbally and in writing, and are stated in the official quotation before payment.

We will follow up to remind clients to book and complete their sessions within the agreed period. If a client does not use the treatments or services within that period, MHG reserves the right to forfeit all remaining sessions and value, with no cash refund and no issue of Care Credits, in all circumstances. This keeps scheduling fair across all clients and supports consistent clinical quality.

6. Disclosure of Medical History

Full and accurate disclosure of your medical history and any prior treatment is required. If you have received IV therapy or undergone any body-related procedure at another clinic, you must tell us at least 24 hours before receiving treatment or making payment at MHG.

Failure to disclose this — whether deliberate or not — may forfeit your eligibility for any refund or Care Credits, and MHG reserves the right to refuse or revoke a request.

No refund or Care Credits will be granted in any circumstances where external procedures have been performed without prior disclosure to our medical team.

7. Appointment Cancellations

7.1 General treatments

At least 12 hours‘ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Less than 12 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee, or forfeiture of the session where it forms part of a package.

7.2 Specialised treatments

For specialised or medically prepared treatments — including cell-based therapies, exosome therapy and apheresis-based procedures — at least 24 hours’ notice is required. All relevant terms are communicated before booking and payment.

MHG reserves the right to apply the following:

  • No refund and no Care Credits for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
  • In the case of a no-show or same-day cancellation, the full treatment fee will be charged.
